To begin with: The style that you have done this piece in is perfect for the message you are trying to bring across, It is easy to imagine an entire story behind this pegasus and how they have come to pass through many obstacles already yet she know that there are going to be many more ahead but no matter what she will reach her goal. The message itself is beautiful and the picture helps to display it, you can instantly tell that it's here to show you to never give up on your dreams.
The image is amazing, it has a grim/drak theme to it, yet it is more to that and you don't feel any form of despression or sadness from the picture, just the feeling that she has the will to go on no matter what.
In terms of originality i'm going to say that i have seem other pictures with similar meanings behind them, but I have never seem one with what quite so deep as this.
Well done overall, i have not seem any other of your pieces as of yet, but I can believe you when you say this is your best piece yet.
